The Best Damn Team in Baseball
No ands...
Ifs...
Or buts...
About it.
And if you think otherwise, you don't know what you're talking about.
The Song of the Day is Count on Me by Default. I'd really appreciate if you guys can leave just a small comment on the song of the day on my blogs, cause I feel kinda like I'm wasting my time putting these songs up when nobody cares, you know? Haha...
Stay positive, Yankee fans.
-EJ the Kid From New York

EJ duh: Yanks are the best! Nuff said!
I listened to the song of the day. It was ok, I kind of liked it :) It was catchy. Much, much better than rappy-hiphop :) I can listen to anything but rappy-hiphop, except metal. I hate that, too. But "Count on me" was pretty good. It is stuck in my head as I type this.
I hope the Yankees continue playing at full intensity. You can't sit idle for a second in this division! Mitre better be good tonight. I feel bad for him. He really stinks. (no offense, sexy) We better have our big bats a'swingin' tonight with him on the mound! Let me know if you liked that Brad Paisley song. It's ok if you didn't. I understand it is not for everyone :) Toodles! -Virginia

EJ - Have to say it - How do you like Toronto? And 1933 Yankees.

EJ: The Yankees' loss was annoying last night, but whatever. They had to end the streak sometime. Today is Melky's (my baby) 25th birthday! I made a whole post for him on my blog, if you are interested. I think Melky is really funny, and as you know, I love him. Let me know if anything on the post is funny to you! -Virginia

EJ -
It is a style of writing where a point is made using lists. My boys (12 & 14) are familiar with this style of writing and since you are the same age I thought you would know it also. Also, given that you are part of the "texting generation" - isn't less really more? lol! Further - in presentations it would be considered "bullet points" or "talking points".
History lesson time - 1933 Yankees - has nothing with them finishing second; it has everything to do with the Yankees blowing a 6 game lead late in the season to finish second. So - "it ain't over till it's over"!
And, since you are so worried about my ability to write correctly, let me help you out; this sentence of yours is incorrect -
"And if you think otherwise, you don't know what you're talking about."
It should read -
And if you think otherwise, THEN you don't know what you're talking about.
EJ - you don't argue with a mom of teenage boys! We never lose! Don't you know that? LOL!
